The store’s team members are aligned around the same goal: to be more efficient and deliver added value for customers and shareholders without neglecting the environment. I would only point out areas for improvement in the store’s energy efficiency: outdated open refrigeration units without doors or night curtains, which contribute to high electricity consumption — a problem further accentuated by the ongoing rise in electricity prices following Sonae’s stock-market listing.
